Del Rey opened shortly after the Second World War. Bernard Proot and Anne Seutin have been at the helm since 1983. What was at first purely a chocolate maker has now expanded to become a specialist shop offering chocolates, cakes, confectionery and ice cream. For those wishing to sample all these delicious treats straight away, we have had a tasting room since the early 1990s. As a member of Relais Desserts, Del Rey has for many years ranked among the best confectioners and chocolate makers in the world. In 2004, the first foreign branch opened in Tokyo, Japan. The Del Rey range can now be found in four places in the land of the rising sun.
