In 1953 the name of the store was renamed DelReY

The business is bought by Arnout and Rita Marchand.

The adjacent house is being purchased and the shop is being renovated.

Bernard Proot arrives at DelReY. Afterwards he gets to know Anne through his work in her parents' bakery. The spark flies and Anne also starts as a student worker at DelReY.

Bernard and Anne have just taken over the business.

The workforce also grows to 14 employees: 7 men in the studio, 7 girls in the shop.

The store is being renovated again and the tasting room is opened.
